The Pattengill Media Center

Welcome!

I am a certified media specialist with a Bachelor's degree in Education and a Master's degree in Educational Technology from Central Michigan University, and a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University.  I have been a school librarian since 1994, and am excited to be here at Pattengill Elementary.

I am originally from Essexville, Michigan, where my mom, dad, sister, two nephews, and my great-niece still live.  I live with my husband and my two dogs, Leona and Ziva.  We enjoy spending time with family and friends, especially at our cabin up north.  

I am very active in our state's school librarian organization, the Michigan Association for Media in Education.  I hope that you all enjoy using the library and all of the things that you will learn in my class.
