On February 5, 2025, Rogers Elementary School participated in Occupation Day. This annual event, started by the Rogers Student Council in 2019, serves as a platform for caregivers to highlight the diverse array of career options available to students. Utilizing tri-fold posters to showcase the essence of their respective careers, adults engaged with students across various grades in a creative, science-fair-style setup. This interactive format allowed students to gain insights into numerous occupations as they rotated through different stations, including accountants, project managers, doctors, entrepreneurs, chiropractors, lawyers, journalists and more. The event showcased a plethora of professions, with each presenter sharing insights and sparking curiosity among the students. Occupation Day aims to provide students with the opportunity to explore a variety of career options, empowering them to envision the multitude of professional possibilities awaiting them after graduation.
