HER Story – Driven to Success at BHS

On February 4, the HER Story – Driven to Success panel took place at BHS in the College and Career Center. The event aimed to provide students with an opportunity to meet inspiring women from the Automotive Women’s Alliance, all of whom are talented leaders in the automotive-mobility industry and STEM fields.
The panel consisted of:

- Maya Makhlouf – High Voltage Battery Systems Engineer | STEM Chair
- Venetia Petteway – Director of STEM Diversity, Corporate & Community Engagement | Mentoring
- Shelly Nseir – Design Assurance Supervisor | STEM Kit Lead
- Sydni Williams – Business & Manufacturing Communications Lead
- C.J. Morrell – Design Assurance Specialist; Six Sigma Black Belt
These professionals shared their journeys, challenges, experiences, and wisdom, answering an array of student questions on topics such as diversity, work-life balance, and educational paths.
This event provided students with an invaluable opportunity to learn from some of the best in these industries, helping them feel more empowered about their professional futures.
