ATP Students Launch Microbusiness with Community Partners

Hoppy Puppy is a new microbusiness collaboration between Berkley Schools’ Adult Transition Program (ATP), Dog & Pony Show Brewery in Oak Park, and Our Neighborhood Academy in Berkley. Students make/bake the treats using “spent grain” provided by Dog & Pony Show Brewery, which is a nutritious byproduct of the beer brewing process. Students bake the treats in their kitchen at ATP, package and market the product at Our Neighborhood Academy in Downtown Berkley and sell the dog treats at Monarch Market Cafe in Huntington Woods. Hoppy Puppy will soon start selling at Dog & Pony, as well!
