Athletics

Norup International School is a member of the Central Oakland Middle School Athletic Conference (COMSAC).  We compete with schools from the following districts:  Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Farmington, West Bloomfield, Cranbrook, Country Day, Ferndale, Hazel Park, Novi, Royal Oak, and Oak Park.   

Here is a list of interscholastic sports teams that we offer:

• Fall Season (September - Early November)
  • Boys Football (7th and 8th grade only - combined with Anderson MS)
  • Girls Basketball (6th-8th grade)
  • Girls Tennis (6th-8th grade - combined with Anderson MS)
  • Coed Cross Country (6th-8th grade - combined with Anderson MS)
• Winter I (Late November - Late January)
  • Boys Basketball (7th and 8th grade only)
  • Girls Swimming (6th-8th grade - combined with Anderson MS).  (NEW)
• Winter II (Late January - Late March)
  • Girls Volleyball (7th and 8th grade only)
  • Boys Wrestling (6th-8th grade, combined with Anderson MS)
  • Boys swimming  (6th-8th grade combined with Anderson MS) (NEW)
• Spring (Mid April - End of May)
  • Boys Tennis (6th-8th grade - combined with Anderson MS)
  • Coed Track and Field (6th-8th grade - combined with Anderson MS)
  • Girls Softball (6th-8th grade - combined with Anderson MS)
  • Boys Baseball (6th-8th grade - combined with Anderson MS)

We also offer in conjunction with Anderson MS two club sports:

• Golf 
• Ski Club

Physicals & Resource Fees

All students participating in AMS sports during the 2022-2023 school year must have a completed health physical dated after April 15, 2022, and also the Athletic Resource Fee Agreement with full payment before starting tryouts.
