Important Music Concert Information |
Dear Parent(s), It’s concert day! Here are some important final notes to help ensure your child is in the right place at the right time this evening: Concert Times (In the Angell Gym) 2nd Grade: 6:00 3rd Grade: 6:45 4th Grade: 7:30 Concert Attire: Students should wear dark pants, comfortable shoes and their class t-shirt: 2nd Grade: Orange 3rd Grade: Aqua/Teal 4th Grade: Green Arrival Times & Locations: Students should report to their classroom 15 minutes before their concert start time. SPECIAL NOTE: Fourth grade students should report to the Music Room at 7:15 - not their classroom. Please do not drop off your child earlier, as there will be no supervision in the classroom. Parent Seating & Concert Flow: Parents will wait in the lobby until seating begins at the end of the previous concert. A riser placement chart will be hung outside the gym so you can see where your child is standing. Tip: Sitting on the opposite side of your child’s placement will provide a better view. If you have children in back-to-back concerts, you may stay in the gym. If your children are in the first and third concert, you will need to exit the gym between performances to allow space for other families. After the Concert: Parents should hold onto their child’s coat, as students will not return to their classroom or lockers after the performance. Families are kindly asked to exit the building promptly after the concert to make space for the next group. We know the building will be crowded, and everyone is excited to see their "star." Please be patient and courteous so all families can enjoy this special event. Please contact us if you have any questions. Thank you for your cooperation and support!
