Berkley High School Unified Basketball Team Plays Groves

Berkley High School Unified Basketball Team is in its second season. This year, their schedule includes 11 games, with the final game at Little Caesars Arena. On Tuesday, January 7, the Bears played Birmingham Groves Unified Team between the boys JV and Varsity games. Many students scored points and assisted their teammates on the court.

Unified sports joins people with and without disabilities on the same team. It is dedicated to promoting social inclusion through shared sports training and competition experience. It was inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding.
