Berkley Building Blocks Student Becomes Jr. Custodian for a Day 

At the annual Berkley Education Foundation fundraising event, Off to the Races, District custodians donate a Jr. Custodian for a Day Package for the silent auction. This package includes an opportunity for students to spend part of a day learning what custodians do to keep buildings safe and clean for students and staff, while forming a deeper relationship with our custodial team.

On May 3, 2023, Berkley Building Blocks (BBB) student, Oliver, spent the morning with BBB Head Custodian Harry Jemkort doing various projects around the school. Oliver lent a helping hand putting away gloves and tissues, assembling a cart for the building, greeting students and helping classes as needed.
