Norup 8th Grade Visits Washington DC

From May 1-5, 2023, 108 Norup International School 8th graders traveled to Washington DC for an annual visit. While in DC, students visited the Supreme Court, US Capitol Building, the Holocaust Museum, the International Spy Museum and many monuments and memorials.

Norup teacher Prima Dailey shared, “Students got the opportunity to apply what they learned in their Individual and Societies course, therefore, they experienced the curriculum within the context of their own lives. This trip is also a time to connect with friends and solidify the community they built over the years before they head off to high school! For some, this trip was a once and a lifetime opportunity and I'm glad we were able to provide that for them.”
