Our preschool programs are designed to provide children with a developmentally appropriate early learning experience. We follow the HighScope Curriculum. Children learn at their own pace aided by a staff of highly trained preschool specialists who strive to promote a high level of self-esteem in each child. The curriculum is devoted to all areas of development including physical, cognitive, math, science, language, literacy communication, interpersonal skills, and relationships, creative arts, dramatic play, and construction. The preschool nurtures a cooperative relationship between families and the program and fosters collaboration with the community. Extensive research has consistently shown that quality preschool programs taught by well trained teachers, improve not only readiness to learn, but also social skills that help children for a lifetime.

We recognize that each child grows and develops at their own rate of speed. Therefore, our program provides opportunities for each child to explore and learn about the environment, to utilize self-selection activities and various materials, thus encouraging the child's natural inclination to learn. We foster children's development of skills, help them understand themselves and others, develop problem-solving skills, and encourage ways of finding answers to their questions. The Building Blocks program has been coordinated with the kindergarten curriculum to ensure that each child is prepared for a successful kindergarten year.
