All students participating in AMS sports during the 2018 -2019 school year MUST have a completed health physical dated after April 15, 2018, and also the Athletic Resource Fee Agreement with full payment before starting tryouts.

Volunteering, Volunteer Driving & Chaperone Responsibilities

Parents are encourage to volunteer in classrooms, chaperone field trips, and be a volunteer driver. In order to volunteer, all parents volunteering in the classroom or during school sponsored functions or field trip must complete the Volunteer Release Form prior to any activities.  Parents driving or chaperoning a field trip must have the Volunteer Driver Form and Chaperone Responsibility Form completed in addition to the Volunteer Release Form.

WINTER ONE SPORTS

Anderson Middle School offers boys basketball and co-ed swimming during the early winter season.  Exact start dates are yet to be determined however athletes should expect to start practices in early November.  Direct specific questions to the coach for your sport.

WINTER TWO SPORTS

Winter two sports include girls volleyball and wrestling.  Typically volleyball will have some open gyms and perhaps tryouts in mid December but the actual season will not begin until mid to late January.  Wrestling will begin practices in January

SPRING SPORTS

Anderson Middle School offers co-ed track and field and boys tennis during the spring sports season.  Typically practices begins the first week of April.  Stay tuned for more info.

SKI AND SNOWBOARD CLUB

It is time to start checking your ski and snowboard gear.

Tentative meeting date for ski & snowboard club is October 29, 7:00 pm, AMS media center.

Once again we are offering ski and snowboard tuning.  The cost is $20 and includes edge cleaning and sharpening, base cleaning, wax and brush
